We’d like it if we can sign the dictations electronically. But this is less valuable a feature.

• We need an internet based system where our radiologists can dictate reports, review the reports, edit the reports and e-sign the reports. We cannot use any system that depends upon MS Word, Active X or any similar software as the hospital firewalls will prohibit downloading these softwares. There are other specific requirements that our group has and we would be happy to speak with any provider who thinks their system can accomodate our group.

• We need to have secure medical transcription with 1-2 day turn around for our group of nursing home based physicians and NPs. Providers will need to be able to upload files and finished transcription will need to be sent directly to nursing homes via a secure non- email method. We will also send lists of pateints seen via e-mail, and would like the transcription company to notify us of any descepencies between the dictation received and the visits listed as being done (either dictation missing or visits dictated that are not on the email list.) We have a standard template we use for our comprehensive visits. Archeiving of files also is requested so that lost or misplaced dictation can be re-sent upon request.

• We will be conducting approx. 75 interviews (on reproductive health issues) before the end of October. Approx. 8 pages (of 46 lines) each. Need the interviews to be transcribed asap after they are completed. Lengths of interviews may vary. This is a rough estimate. I need to know costs and feasability.
